All of this stuff sounds good, cant wait to hear about the bigger features. These little things are what make the game already great. I'd like to see them expand on the OD size to make it 16 or 20, and tighten up on the recruiting, making it a little harder to get so many top recruits.

I agree. I would like for them to give us the ability to have our own recruiting restrictions within the OD so the commish doesn't have to follow the players to make sure they are following the rules.

If they made it harder to recruit, we wouldnt even need restrictions. I did realize as I followed the recruiting this season closer than years before, that schools offer many more schollies than they actually have, knowing that most kids take a while to make up their mind, so they just drop offers once kids start signing. They give kids a chance to sign early and if they dont, they take their chance on losing their spot.
Happened with Latwan Anderson, #15 or so overall player on Rivals, a DB from Cleveland. He was offered by OSU, chose WVU, then didnt sign and said he wanted to make sure he made the right pick. When really he wanted to get in better shape with his grades so he could get into OSU with no problems, and OSU took a few other kids and snatched his offer.
I'm also hoping for more big game hype. Whatever they can do to make games more exciting Im gonna be all for. They started good with the camera's and field art in bowl games now they need to really amp it up for rivalry games or just big games period. They need more dynamic crowd chants, that sound realistic and not all studio. Maybe the Saturday Gameday presentation for big games or something but we gotta do something to make big games feel like big games. Acknowledge homecoming and senior day also. If they do the Gameday thing, that will be huge, we've been asking for it for years, this is a good year to bring it in, as they have had OD mode for 2 years now.

I think it's a given that teams offer more than what they have. They also have the ability to pull offers too. That's not possible in NCAA. Say you have a need for 1 RB and you offer 2 (assuming you can offer all your recruits, no restrictions). Well say both RB's sign in the same week, but you really only wanted 1. Now you are going to have to cut one of those freshman RB that someone else could have recruited. it's not like that virtual recruit can go to another school. if they are cut, they are gone completely. To avoid that, you have to have restrictions.

Yea, It would be nice if they wouldnt let you go over your 70 player limit instead of an automatic 25 scholarships after every season. They don't have it it set up realistically. We wouldnt need restrictions if they just didnt let you go over the limit. I dont even know why they have the cut players screen, teams never actually cut players unless they get in trouble or cant make the grade.

I agree with that. if they add back punishment and players getting in trouble where you can kick them off the team and/or suspend them, it would be better. Players do get there scholarship pulled sometimes but usually it's mutual.
Where you ballin' at now?

Well I gave up the site as you know, got tired of running every league and the turnover was just to high. Too much work and not enough help so I decided to take step back and just play, a lot less stress.
I found a madden league with a few guys who I had join my leagues and Ive been ballin with them since I gave up my site. They dont have a site with a chat box, just a site with all the info and forums on it. We use AIM Blast Groups to hangout everyday usually. There is a large group of guys who all play in the same few madden leagues who use these AIM Blast groups (which is like a chat room), and we just play everything really.
We're in 1 madden league called TD = The Dynasty, I won the Super Bowl in the last 2 seasons with KC. The competition is really solid though, at least 4 or 5 top level type of ballers, with some really decent mid level guys who make the league interesting. We've been playing NBA Live Team Play a lot lately and even joined a 5v5 Team Play lg called UBL (United Ballas League). When MLB drops, there are about 2 or 3 leagues the majority of us will be playing in also.
I thought about joining over at VSN or wherever all the old MMers are at but I VSN just seems commercial to me now. I never liked it in the first place, especially after the owner constantly tried to get you to merge with him. Kinda just seemed like a scam artist so I've just been playing with these guys as of the last 6 months or so. Its been pretty fun to. I'll be back here for NCAA 11 though, as long as you're still doing it. I'll try and bring a few guys I know who play ncaa in also.
I miss the old days when you first started the site, we had a nice size group but they all kinda faded away and never came back. Hopefully we can get a few back here for NCAA 11 and see if we can get the ladder going or something. I can dig in and help you out some if you need, just let me know if you need a hand.
